Life can be as simple,yet it can be as tough.It can be as worthwhile,yet it can be so worthless.
Do you think that your life is very worthwhile?
If you think so, do you have self worth?
Let me give you 3 good examples to define my meaning of self-worth.
If you wore till very pretty and walk on the streets. People stare at you, what will your feelings be?
- happy
- proud
- great
- being admired
You will feel very happy,because you have self-worth. You know that you were admired by somebody on the streets because you wore beautifully.You have high-esteem,you feel confident of yourself, thus, you will smile back.
Another example.
Lets say,you are a popstar and you left home to walk on the streets. At the same time,people stare at you, what will your feelings be like?
- proud
- excited
- great
- happy
- confident
- loves the attention
Likewise,you will feel extrememly happy.Because you know that its something that you do,and yet you have a clear dignity.You still have pride.You will smile back at them,because you are happy,even from deep in your heart.
Lets talk about another example.
If you see a group of hooligans outside.People stare at them.What will be the 1st thing that they will do?
Stare back right?
1) Stare back
2) Tells leader.
3) Shouts across the street,"Stare what stare?!"
4) Fight.
Does it sound so familiar to you?This is what we all see on the streets,T.V etc.Well,these hooligans,also known as ahbengs will shout back,and not feel happy when they were being stared is because they have extremely low self esteem.Deep down in their heart,they feel that people stare at them because of their appearance,because of all the negatives things that they had done (Smoking,drinking,fighting etc).Well, what is self worth to them? Nothing.
Self worth is actually very important to us, because within self-worth, we can do anything and everything to betray ourselves. Even our own body. Self-worth may seemed to be something that is very easy to acheive,yet it is something that some of us don't possess.
Think about it. Do you want to have self-worth,have dignity and pride. OR be those slackers outside and hang around doing things that they are not supposed to.
For my friends who are taking Olevels. Having Self-worth is to play and study at the correct time. Now is the time for studying. (:
Anyway, today had P.E lessons.Some people from my class were trying to make a joke out of themselves and trying to let the whole world think that they are so 'almighty'. ):
I shall not elaborate any further. (:
The group of us skipped History lessons for the submission of DPA application and Mr Tan was extremely disappointed.Sigh.Sorry Mr Tan. It will be the first and the last. (: We love you.
Alright.I shall continue to look up on search engines on hypnotise. Anyone know anything please tell me ok? I am suddenly very interested in this :D
